Charish L. Barry, MD, FAAP
Dr. Barry is excited to offer a unique pediatric practice to the Santa Barbara community. As the first concierge-style practice for children on the Central Coast of California, Dr. Barry is excited to continue to grow and develop a modern approach to medical care with an old-fashioned style. She has two pediatric trained nurse practitioners who work directly with her to deliver cutting edge medical care for children in Santa Barbara.
She moved to Santa Barbara in 2004 where she worked as a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Prior to moving to Santa Barbara, she worked at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, CA. She completed her pediatric residency at Stanford University Medical Center and is a graduate of Mayo Medical School in Rochester, MN and Scripps College in Claremont, CA.
She enjoys supporting the Santa Barbara community by providing educational talks for parents and has served as a member of the Angels Foster Care Board of Directors, the CALM Board of Trustees, and was previously the local representative for the American Academy of Pediatrics Southern California Chapter.
Dr. Barry is married to Dr. Anthony C. Romero, a local Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine at Santa Barbara Orthopedic Associates. They have twin boys, Joaquin and Lucas, and are excited to raise them in the Santa Barbara community.

Catherine Cordero, MS, RN, CPNP
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Catherine is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She is happy to join Dr. Barry, the Petite Pediatric team, and Peapod families.
She has been working in pediatric primary and adolescent health for four years in Santa Barbara county. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in nursing from Columbia University. She trained in multiple hospitals in the New York City area. Previously, she earned her first Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California Santa Barbara. At the same time, she began practicing compassionate care as a volunteer with the Adventures in Caring Foundation and working as a medical assistant for a local pediatrician.
She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and California’s Board of Registered Nursing. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the California Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Catherine and her husband, Barrett, a Goleta native, enjoy spending their free time embracing Santa Barbara’s beautiful outdoors and inspirational community. Catherine has a passion for yoga, nutrition, and wellness.
Erin Baird, MS, RN, CPNP
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Erin is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a special concentration in Acute and Chronic Care.
She completed both her Bachelor and Master in Science of Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Prior to obtaining her Masters in 2016, Erin worked as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Thanks to a new job opportunity for her husband, Erin and her family moved to California where she spent time working in the Emergency Department at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital as an RN. While at Cottage she served as a pediatric liaison before taking a position as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Ventura County. Erin has a passion for taking care of children with chronic health care needs including her specialty in managing childhood asthma. Erin is excited to take care of children in her local community and join the Petite Pediatrics team!
Erin is currently a member of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners, National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
When she’s not working, you will either find her on the trails with her Great Dane, in the pool or out stroller running with her daughter Parker. Erin and her husband love living in Santa Barbara and taking advantage of all the great restaurants and hang out spots.

Cindy Marie P. Solis
Cindy joined Petite Pediatrics in October 2013. She is a graduate of Santa Barbara Business College where she received her Associate’s Degree as a medical assistant. Born and raised in the Santa Barbara area, she understands the deep roots of compassion and generosity this community has to offer.
She enjoys working with the Petite Pediatrics team and is very excited to get to know all the unique families that make this practice so wonderful.
Cindy is a classic film fanatic and enjoys spending her time out of the office with her friends and family.
Veronica joined the Petite Pediatrics team in May of 2019. She will be receiving her B.S. degree in Biopsychology from UCSB in the Spring of 2020. She hopes to further her career in medicine by applying to medical school in the coming years. Prior to moving to Santa Barbara, Veronica spent time tutoring low-income, at-risk youth in Math and English. She continues to serve the underserved through her involvement in the local organization, Doctors Without Walls, where she works in a team to provide our homeless neighbors with free medical care. Veronica hopes to continue her work with vulnerable populations and specialize in pediatric medical care.
Veronica enjoys spending her time drinking oat milk lattes and binge-watching TV shows.
Patient Support Coordinator
Megan joined Petite Pediatrics in November of 2019. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Counseling in 2016 from the University of California, Santa Barbara. After graduating, she spent 3 years living and working in San Francisco where she worked in Human Resources at a major tech company and then worked as a teacher at a Daycare/Preschool. Before leaving San Francisco, she took a sabbatical where she lived and studied in Perugia, Italy before returning to the town that holds a special place in her heart, Santa Barbara.
Megan is working towards becoming a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and loves interacting with and learning from children with unique needs from all different backgrounds.
Megan is an avid traveler and loves spending her time exploring new cultures in new cities around the world. When she’s not working or studying, she spends most of her time enjoying the outdoors in sunny Santa Barbara.
Medical Office Assistant
Audrey joined Petite Pediatrics in January of 2020. She will be receiving a B.S. degree in Biopsychology from UC Santa Barbara in June 2020. She is hoping to further her career in the medical field in the coming years, with a particular interest in women’s health or midwifery.
During her time in Santa Barbara, Audrey has developed a passion for helping others, as she has served as a pediatric special needs caretaker as well as a tutor for children in the area. She also participated in an internship in genomic research at a pediatric hospital in San Diego. Additionally, Audrey loves to travel, which led her to spend a term studying abroad in the beautiful and quaint city of Maastricht, Netherlands, which holds a warm place in her heart.
Audrey loves working with the Petite Pediatrics team and is excited to continue to get to know all of the lovely families that make the practice so amazing!
