Sarah Roberts

Medical Assistant
Sarah was raised in Southern California and moved to Santa Barbara in 2007 to attend Westmont College.  She graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in Biology and a minor in Music.  During her time at Westmont, she volunteered at a Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinic, where she gained experience as a medical assistant. She was involved in molecular research on Bordetella bronchiseptica, the bacteria responsible for whooping cough in small mammals.  While an undergraduate, she also earned her credentials as a nationally registered Emergency Medical Technician.

Sarah's long-term goal is to further her career in the medical field and ultimately become a physician assistant.  She is interested in working with children, specifically in under-served communities.  Sarah is excited to work as a medical assistant at Petite Pediatrics and looks forward to helping Dr. Barry care for children in Santa Barbara.
