Charish L. Barry, MD, FAAP
Dr. Barry is a board certified Pediatrician who is excited to offer a new pediatric practice to the Santa Barbara community.
She has worked as a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital since 2004. Prior to moving to Santa Barbara, she worked at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, CA. She completed her pediatric residency at Stanford University Medical Center and is a graduate of Mayo Medical School in Rochester, MN and Scripps College in Claremont, CA.
She enjoys supporting the Santa Barbara community by providing educational talks for parents and has served as a member of the Angels Foster Care Board of Directors, the CALM Board of Trustees, and is the local representative for the American Academy of Pediatrics Southern California Chapter.
Dr. Barry is married to Dr. Anthony C. Romero, a local Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine at Santa Barbara Orthopedic Associates. They have twin boys, Joaquin and Lucas, and are excited to raise them in the Santa Barbara community.
Kathy Klammer, RN
Certified Lactation Consultant
Kathy is a registered nurse who has worked in maternal neonatal nursing for over 24 years. Her specialties include Lactation Educator, Neonatal ICU, and working with the Welcome Every Baby Program.
As a lactation specialist, Kathy is passionate about supporting mothers in feeding their babies. She will do both office and home visits for families.
Kathy has been a resident in Santa Barbara for 22 years & lives with her husband and two wonderful teenagers – yes, wonderful!

Catherine Cordero, MS, RN, CPNP
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Catherine is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She is happy to join Dr. Barry, the Petite Pediatric team, and Peapod families.
She has been working in pediatric primary and adolescent health for four years in Santa Barbara county. She earned her Bachelor and Master degree in nursing from Columbia University. She trained in multiple hospitals in the New York City area. Previously, she earned her first Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from University of California Santa Barbara. At the same time, she began practicing compassionate care as a volunteer with the Adventures in Caring Foundation and working as a medical assistant for a local pediatrician.
She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and California’s Board of Registered Nursing. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the California Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Catherine and her husband, Barrett, a Goleta native, enjoy spending their free time embracing Santa Barbara’s beautiful outdoors and inspirational community. Catherine has a passion for yoga, nutrition, and wellness.
Bridget has been a part of Petite Pediatrics since early 2013. She graduated from UCSB in 2011 with a degree in Global Studies and Psychology but found her passions lay in medicine.
She is grateful to have found such a wonderful practice with the best families around. She enjoys getting to know our patients and watching their continued growth and development.
Outside of the office Bridget is an avid half and full marathon runner. She enjoys exploring Santa Barbara and volunteering in the community.
Cindy Marie P. Solis
Cindy joined Petite Pediatrics in October 2013. She is a graduate of Santa Barbara Business College where she received her associate’s degree as a medical assistant. Born and raised in the Santa Barbara area, she understands the deep roots of compassion and generosity this community has to offer.
She enjoys working with the Petite Pediatrics team and is very excited to get to know all the unique families that make this practice so wonderful.
Cindy is a classic film fanatic and enjoys spending her time out of the office with her friends and family.
