Founded in 2006 by Meichelle Arntz, Angels Foster Care of Santa Barbara is based on the acclaimed program established by the original Angels Foster Family Network of San Diego which was founded in 1998. The Angels Foster Family Network is a 501C(3) non-profit, licensed foster family agency, specializing in placing infants and toddlers with exceptional families. The Angels mission is to rescue abused, abandoned, and neglected young children, match them with a select group of foster parents, and ensure the maximum emotional, social, and intellectual development of each child.

CALM is the only non-profit agency in Santa Barbara County whose mission is to prevent, assess, and treat child abuse by providing comprehensive, culturally competent, services for children, families and adults CALM offers a safe, non-judgmental, caring and strength-based environment to heal and increase family well being.

for Kids was founded with the goal of creating a store that is child
health-conscious and environmentally responsible, where parents can be
assured that the products they purchase are organic and ecologically
safe, and know which products are the most safe and health for their
children. Summer For Kids' goal is also to provide support to childrens
charities that can advocate for children and give them a voice.
